The Third trailer for Red Dead Redemption 2 dropped yesterday and there was quite a lot to be excited about. The sequel to Red Dead Redemption – Rockstar’s open world western which released 8 years ago is sorta, kinda a big deal in these parts, being that, it is the follow up to one of the greatest video games ever made. Back in May 2010, Rockstar revolutionized the Western gaming genre with an expansive and breath-taking video game, set during the twilight period of the Old Wild West, Red Dead Redemption boasted an absorbing, beautiful open world sandbox and brilliant gaming mechanics, not to mention one of the most developed video game protagonists you’ll ever see. So, when Rockstar announced a sequel last year, it automatically became one of gaming’s most anticipated properties. A teaser trailer and a first full trailer had been released earlier.
The third trailer gives us a snippet of the charismatic Dutch Van der Linde’s posse of outlaws getting up to no good. We see more of Arthur Morgan - the game’s protagonist and other members of the Van Der Linde gang, more importantly, we can now confirm that John Marston, the protagonist of the prequel game and his wife Abigail, will be making appearances in the game. Needless to say, the trailer looks great! see for yourself, and experience the savagery that was the Old West.
Anticipation level:
After having its release date pushed back from last year Red Dead Redemption 2 will be available on October 28, 2018.
