After a one year hiatus, to take a breather from the exhaustive yearly release of their star franchise and to ramp up marketing for the 2016 Assassin's creed feature length film (you can read our review here), Ubisoft at E3 2017, released the official game play trailer of its latest installment; Assassin's creed Origins which is set in ancient Egypt and introduces us to a new protagonist; Bayek. The five minute video seemingly starts with Bayek returning home after what seems like a while, he arrives at home and immediately sets to assassinate an enemy, it also shows some pretty cool new features like using Bayek's pet Eagle-Senu to scout ahead and the game play mechanic seems quite different from what we've had before, all in all its looking pretty okay, however I do have the feeling like I've done it all before but I certainly can be proven wrong. Are you excited for the new AC or do you think Ubisoft are flogging a dead horse here?
